Stephen Budiansky

Stephen Budiansky studied applied mathematics and chemistry and worked at the American Chemical Society before in 1986 becoming a journalist and editor at U.S. News & World Report, where he worked for twelve years. He is the author of Mad Music: Charles Ives, the Nostalgic RebelAir Power: The Men, Machines, and Ideas That Revolutionized War, from Kitty Hawk to Iraq; and The Bloody Shirt: Terror After the Civil War, among others.
