Louis C.K.

Born Louis Szekely, the comedian, writer, and director began styling his name “Louis C.K.” in elementary school, using a phonetic rendering of his surname. Known for his candid and confessional stand-up routine, C.K. wrote for a number of television shows and movies before creating his own critically acclaimed show, Louie, in 2010. In a 2011 interview, C.K. described comedy as “just a big excuse to say awful things.”
