Musharraf Ali Farooqi

Musharraf Ali Farooqi is an author, a novelist and a translator. His novel Between Clay and Dust was published to critical acclaim by Aleph Book Company in 2012, and it was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2012 and longlisted for the 2013 DSC Prize for South Asian Literature. Farooqi is also the author of critically acclaimed translations of the Urdu classic The Adventures of Amir Hamza and the first book of a projected twenty-four-volume magical fantasy epic, Hoshruba.
