Political consultant and media advisor Mandy Grunwald.

Mandy Grunwald

Mandy Grunwald is a political consultant and media adviser for the Democratic Party. She appeared as a guest on Nightline in 1992 to discuss Gennifer Flowers’ alleged affair with Bill Clinton, during which she told the host, Ted Koppel, that he was playing into “a trashy supermarket tabloid” agenda. The campaign hired her within forty-eight hours. She served as media adviser and director of advertising for the Clinton/Gore ’92 campaign—the first woman in history to hold that job in a presidential campaign. She served in the same role in Hillary Clinton’s 2008 and 2016 presidential campaigns. She is president of Grunwald Communications, a research and messaging company.
