Lu Ji

A renowned Chinese literary critic and a grandson of one of the Wu dynasty founders, Lu Ji traveled in 289 to the imperial capital at Luoyang, where he became president of the national university. Accused of treason by the prince of Chengdu, Lu was executed at the age of forty-two, along with his brother and two sons.
