Adrian Nicole LeBlanc

In 1988 Adrian Nicole LeBlanc received from Oxford University a master’s degree in philosophy and modern literature. She met the two principal characters of what became her first book, Random Family: Love, Drugs, Trouble and Coming of Age in the Bronx, while on assignment for the Village Voice to cover the trial of a Bronx heroin pusher in 1991.
