Graham Swift

Born in London, Booker Prize–winning author Graham Swift was once described as “a profile writer’s nightmare” by Kazuo Ishiguro, “because he is quiet and stable. He is very much someone who is engrossed in his writing. He’s been living in more or less the same patch of south London in that same house for years…The interesting depth to Graham is all about his inner life.” His books include Waterland, Last Orders, and The Light of the Day.
