Marie Kondo

In 2010 Marie Kondo, who worked as an assistant at a Shinto shrine before opening a Tokyo decluttering consultancy, won first prize in a publishing course called “How to Write Best Sellers That Will Be Loved for Ten Years.” Her book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up has sold more than four million copies since its publication in 2011.
