Grover Lewis

(1934 - 1995)

A writer and poet regarded as a pioneer of New Journalism, Grover Lewis was a regular contributor to Rolling Stone, the Village Voice, and Texas Monthly. After Lewis died in 1995, the critic Dave Hickey called him “the most wonderful Stone writer that nobody ever heard of.”
