Tom Rachman

Born in London in 1974 and raised in Vancouver, Tom Rachman began work with the Associated Press in 1998, serving as a foreign correspondent in Italy in 2002—an experience that informed his debut novel, The Imperfectionists, each chapter narrated by a different staffer at an English-language newspaper in Rome.
