Thomas Frank

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Thomas Frank cofounded the magazine The Baffler in 1988 while he was a University of Chicago graduate student researching the history of advertising. He has since been a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Harper’s Magazine, and the Guardian. His books include What’s the Matter with Kansas? and One Market Under God.
