Timothy Morton

A member of the object-oriented ontology movement, which states that “all objects must be given equal attention, whether they be human, nonhuman, natural, cultural, real, or fictional,” Timothy Morton began a correspondence with Icelandic musician Björk on the subject, excerpts of which were published as part of a retrospective of her work at MoMA in 2015. He is a professor at Rice University and has published books about Mary and Percy Bysshe Shelley, ecology, and diets.
