Abigail Williams

Abigail Williams is professor of eighteenth-century studies at the University of Oxford and Lord White Tutorial Fellow at St Peter’s College, Oxford. She is the author of Reading It Wrong: An Alternative History of Early Eighteenth-Century Literature, The Social Life of Books: Reading Together in the Eighteenth-Century Home, and Poetry and the Creation of a Whig Literary Culture.
