Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1978 in his early twenties and soon moved to New York City, where he worked long hours in restaurants with the help of cocaine. “Hardly a decision was made without drugs,” he recalled in Kitchen Confidential, published in 2000. He was the executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles for many years and now hosts the television show Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
