Barbara Ehrenreich

Barbara Ehrenreich spent two years living on wages earned at entry-level positions, publishing an account of her time, Nickel and Dimed, in 2001. Her investigation into white-collar jobs, Bait and Switch, appeared in 2005. Ehrenreich’s most recent books are Natural Causes: An Epidemic of Wellness, the Certainty of Dying, and Killing Ourselves to Live Longer; Living with a Wild God: A Nonbeliever’s Search for the Truth about Everything; and Bright-Sided: How the Relentless Promotion of Positive Thinking Has Undermined America.
