Jonathan Phillips

Jonathan Phillips is professor of the history of the Crusades at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is the author of The Life and Legend of the Sultan Saladin, Holy Warriors: A Modern History of the Crusades, and The Second Crusade: Extending the Frontiers of Christendom. He lives in Surrey.
