For twelve years Tim Kreider wrote and illustrated the popular comic strip The Pain—When Will It End? for various alternative weeklies. A contributor to the New York Times and The New Yorker, he is the author of two essay collections, I Wrote This Book Because I Love You and We Learn Nothing.
