John Lydon

Born in North London in 1956, John Lydon first came to public attention at St. Martins School of Art in 1975, when he appeared as front man for the Sex Pistols. Using the nom de guerre Johnny Rotten, Lydon provoked outrage throughout the United Kingdom with his outlandish behavior and public utterances. The band broke up in January 1978; Lydon now resides in Los Angeles.
