Péter Nádas

Born to Communist parents two years before the Nazi Siege of Budapest, Péter Nádas lost his mother to cancer as a boy and was orphaned in 1958 at the age of sixteen when his father committed suicide. Journalist, short-story writer, and playwright, he published his three-volume novel parallel Stories in 2005.
