Richard W. Stevenson

Educated at the University of Pennsylvania and the London School of Economics, Richard W. Stevenson joined the New York Times in 1985 as a business reporter and went on to become a correspondent in the Los Angeles and London bureaus. Starting in 1996, he was based in Washington, serving in a variety of roles, including chief economic correspondent and White House correspondent, before being named Europe editor in 2013.
