Harold Bride

(1890 - 1956)

Harold Bride was born in Nunhead, England. At age twenty-two, he joined the crew of the Titanic as a member of the Marconi wireless telegraph forces. His account of the ship’s sinking ran in the New York Times, which paid him a thousand dollars.
