Noga Arikha

Noga Arikha is a philosopher and historian of ideas. She is author of Passions and Tempers: A History of the Humours and Napoleon and the Rebel, a biography of Lucien Bonaparte coauthored with Marcello Simonetta. Her most recent book is The Ceiling Outside: The Science and Experience of the Disrupted Mind. She is a member of the Lapham’s Quarterly editorial board.
